We are Brendan and Georgia.  Situated 4 hours to the east of Melbourne city and 1 hours drive to some of the best snow fields in Australia, our property sits amongst natural bushland, creeks, streams and loads of Australian wildlife.

 

Our first Dogue de Bordeaux was Jake, a rescue in need of some TLC.  Jake is not your classic beauty but he stole our hearts immediately with his adolescent personality.  Our Bordeaux family has grown, but Jake will always be our proudest achievement.  From the gangly half starved creature we took into our hearts, Jake is now a well fed, somewhat pot-bellied baby who is happy with the world and with his lot in life.  

 

Our Bordeaux’s are fed on a combination of fresh meats and quality dry food, with bones being provided as ‘snacks’.  Exercise and socialisation is the cornerstone to our kennel, ensuring our pets are physically and mentally fit.   

 

Our prefix, Amoureux, was granted in 2007, meaning ‘in love’.  Like the namesake, we fell in love with the Bordeaux.  We are blessed with two exceptional foundation Bordeaux’s, with their first litter due in early 2009.  

 

We strive for excellence through our planned breeding program.  Part of this is to interpret the wealth of technical information about the breed into a language a newcomer can understand.
